This tutorial demonstrates the method of simulating the filling processes of the coolant filling system for an electric vehicle. The coolant filling system consists of tank, radiator, battery pack, pump, coolant pipe and vent pipe. The filling of coolant starts due to gravity and then the pump is switched on at a later stage. In this simulation, the pump is operated at 3000 rpm. The coolant is filled in the tank at 2 LPM based on the coolant level in the tank. Figure 7.296 shows the geometry description and conditions for the coolant filling system simulation.
