Contours

The most common contours for the water wading simulation is volume fraction of water on the section in the crossflow direction. The steps to create contours are:

1. Click Load Results in the Simulation Panel.
2. Select the required result file in the ensuing Load Results dialog box, click Open.

Create a section

A section is created with the following steps.

1. Click Create a Cross-Section icon in the Geometric Entities Panel. A new section Section 01 is created under Derived Surfaces.
2. Select Section 01 under Derived Surfaces and specify the Type as Plane Y and Position as 0 m in the Geometry Tab of Properties Panel.

Water Volume Fraction contours

1. Select Section 01 under Derived Surfaces in the Geometric Entities Panel.

2. Select Volume Fraction (Component water) from the Derived Variables list under the Variable drop-down list in the Results Panel, see Figure 7.339. For variables and legends, refer Post-Processing.

3. Specify Min as 0 and Max as 1 in the Results Panel.

´	Note:  Changes to the display, such as legend, contour color, image sizing and transparency can be made under the View Tab of Properties Panel.
