Problem Overview
The crescent pump consists of an Inlet, Rotors (Inner and Outer) with a crescent chamber and an Outlet. The fluid enters the pump at a pressure of 101325 Pa and leaves at a pressure of 500000 Pa. The pump is operated at 2000 rpm. Figure 6.323 shows the setup for the crescent pump simulation and the physical properties of the fluid used.
