Problem Overview

The external gear pump consists of an Inlet, Drive Gear, Slave Gear and an Outlet. Oil enters the pump at a pressure of 101325 Pa and leaves at a pressure of 500000 Pa. The pump is operated at 5000 rpm. Figure 6.162 shows the geometry description and conditions for the external gear pump simulation.
