Problem Overview
The progressive cavity pump consists of an Inlet, Progressive Cavity and Outlet. Oil enters the pump at a pressure of 101325 Pa and leaves at a pressure of 300000 Pa. The pump is operated at 1000 rpm. Figure 6.860 shows the geometry description and conditions for the progressive cavity pump simulation.
