Template Capabilities

The templates in Simerics-MP+ have special features and capabilities. They are listed as follows:

Multiple templates can be used for a system level simulation. For example, Gerotor and Valve templates are used in a lubrication system simulation.
Micron level leakage (uniform or nonuniform) gaps are modelled using templates.
Better control of mesh with good quality and optimum cell count using templates.
Dynamic motion of valves can be modelled using force balance or prescribed motion.
Gerotor template supports two different shaft types: Fixed and Orbiting.
Gerotor and External Gear templates support helical and worm gear profiles other than the standard spur gear profile.
Vane pump template supports fixed, variable, and balanced type of pumps.
Variable vane pump template supports both translation and rotational type of slider motion.
Swash Plate piston pump can be modelled including piston slipper, variable plate angle and different leakage gaps.
