The Variable Displacement Vane Pump (VDVP) consists of a Control volume, Grooves, Ports, Release ports, Sliders, and Pumping chamber. Oil enters the pump at a pressure of 101325 Pa and leaves at a pressure of 1e+06 Pa. Cam ring displaces from its position at control inlet pressure of 300000 Pa. The pump is operated at 3000 rpm. Figure 6.251 shows the geometry and conditions for the VDVP pump simulation.
