This tutorial simulates air flow inside a power inverter (air-cooled) considering heat transfer in and around electronic components. Air enters the inlet at a specified pressure of 101325 Pa and exits with a volumetric flux of 0.001 m3/s. The heat sources are the transformer of 3 W, Thermal chip of 2 W and the transistors (1,2,3,4) of 1 W each. The geometry and conditions for the simulation are shown in the Figure 11.26.
