Animations
Animations can be used effectively in visualizing the free surface of the water, generation of the Kelvin waves and the ship motions.
Steps to create animations
- Animations can be created by saving transient marine simulation results at frequent intervals. This is controlled by the Result Saving Frequency setting in the Simulation Panel. The results are saved as individual .sres files in the working folder
- Select File > Save Animation. Select all the result files to build the animation in the Select GIF File for Movie, PNG File for Frames dialog box and click Open.
- Save the .gif animated file with a file name.
| Note : Animations are created in the .gif format with the exact display rendered in the Display Panel while saving the animation. |
