Problem Overview

The planetary gearbox consists of sun gear, three planet gears, ring gear, carrier, cavity and housing. The sun gear rotates at 600 rpm and ring gear is held stationary. The planet gears and carrier speed are derived based on the teeth relation and provided input through expression editor. Figure 7.172 shows the geometry description and conditions for the planetary gearbox simulation.
