11.13 Mixing Tank

In industrial process, mixing is an operation to change a system from heterogeneous state to a more homogeneous state. A Mixing Tank is a container that is used to blend various components, usually liquids, together. The mixing mechanism and efficiency of a mixing tank can be simulated using Simerics-MP. This tutorial demonstrate simulation of mixing process in a mixing tank using Species module.

1. Problem overview: A description and schematic of the problem, explaining the conditions involved in the modelling.
2. Setting up the model: Building the simulation domain, specifying the physics and conditions.
3. Performing simulations: Steps to run the simulation.
