Animations

Animations are created from saved .sres files. The Result Saving Frequency option in the Simulation Panel is set to a small value (say 5 or 10) before running the simulation to obtain better animations. The steps for an animation are shown below:

1. Click Load Results in the Simulation Panel.
2. Select the required result file in the ensuing Load Results dialog box, click Open.

Wave patterns generated by hull-fluid interaction

Animations for a displacement hull help visualizing the waves generated by the interaction of the hull with the fluid surface. They are created as follows:

• Create an isosurface showing the fluid area containing a certain volume fraction of water, say 0.5.
• Select CAD Surfaces hull, deck and Isosurface 01 in the Geometric Entities Panel.
