Problem Overview
This tutorial demonstrates how a Proportional Integral-Derivative (PID) controller works through controller module in Simerics-MP+. The objective of mixing pipe flow model simulation is to determine the flow rate of hot fluid , to attain the desired outlet temperature of 39 °C. Figure 10.61 shows the geometry and conditions for the mixing pipe-PID controller simulation.
