5.13.3 Output Variables

The outputs available from the Acoustic module are:

• Acoustic Power

• Acoustic Power Level
• Lighthill Stress Tensor
• Sound Pressure

Acoustic Power

This plots the acoustic power per unit area emitted by the boundary or volume source. This variable is available only for the Broadband Source Model.

Acoustic Power Level

This plots the measure of the acoustic power propagated from the boundary or volume source. This variable is available only for the Broadband Source Model.

Lighthill Stress Tensor

This plots the Lighthill stress tensor components. This variable is available only for the Lighthill Stress Model.

Sound Pressure

This plots the pressure difference between the instantaneous local pressure and the reference pressure, caused by the sound wave. This variable is available only for the Ffowcs-Williams Hawkings (FWH) Model and can be activated as Acoustic receiver in the monitoring point.
