4.1 Geometry Preparation

The preparation of a geometry in Simerics-MP/ Simerics-MP+ involves importing a geometry or grid which contains the CAD Surfaces, splitting the CAD Surfaces and performing other transformation operations on the geometry. These operations can also be performed on the mesh/grid prepared for the simulation from the CAD Surfaces. Information such as domain size, cell count is accessed at various stages of geometry/grid preparation. Each of these is explained as follows:
